Cannumo, the Lithuanian wellness start-up behind the live-bacteria drink Goodie, has raised €1 million on Shark Tank Lithuania, marking the largest deal ever reported on any European business reality show.

Entrepreneur Tadas Burgaila, co-founder of Kilo Group and founder of accelerator Lost Astronaut, led the investment. He committed €600,000 for a 20% equity stake and provided an additional €400,000 in loan financing. The deal is being hailed as a milestone for both Lithuania’s start-up sector and the broader European TV format.

Cannumo develops live-bacteria wellness products for the growing functional beverage market. On the show, co-founders Mykolas Karpičius and Dominykas Ježerys presented Goodie, a fermented drink containing 96 live bacterial cultures, produced in Lithuania. The beverage is marketed as a healthier, alcohol-free alternative that supports long-term gut health.

The founders revealed they have invested around €500,000 of their own capital to launch Goodie and scale production. Following Burgaila’s backing, the company plans an intensive 90-day push into the UK, one of the world’s largest e-commerce markets for health and wellness products. Goodie is already available in several European countries, and Cannumo is developing a new gut-health product aimed at the US market.

Karpičius described the investment as a significant step for the company. “We share the same vision, and his experience is exactly what Cannumo and Goodie need as we expand internationally,” he said. Ježerys noted that the product’s success in Lithuania shows a strong global appetite for healthier beverage alternatives. “Our community in Lithuania has shown that people everywhere want meaningful, health-focused brands. Now we’re ready to meet that demand globally,” he said.

Burgaila praised the founders for their commercial acumen. “Most Lithuanian businesses lack this — they know how to sell,” he said. “The probiotics market is huge and interest is only growing. Listening to Cannumo’s story, I realised these are people who want to grow rapidly and reach new heights.” He set an ambitious target for the company to achieve a €30 million valuation within the next 12 months.

Shark Tank Lithuania producer Laurynas Šeškus said the deal sets a new benchmark. “Based on available data, this is the largest investment across all European business reality shows. It shows Lithuanian founders are building products ready to compete globally,” he said.

Founded just three years ago, Cannumo has quickly become one of the Baltic region’s fastest-growing wellness brands. Its live-bacteria beverages have earned international recognition, including Best New Product Launch at the NielsenIQ Awards, Best New Health Product at NOPEX 2024, and the Taste Innovation Award at Anuga 2025.
